This is absolutely beautiful in person. The comforter (queen) is not the normal perfectly square shape, it actually fits a queen mattress and overhangs the edges appropriately. It is very plushly filled. The only downfall: the colors. They are not even remotely how they appear online! The darker blues at the bottom lean towards a midnight blue/purplish tone and the top where it fades very light is actually a violet purple. Not at all the aqua/royal blue it looks like online. But still beautiful bed set if you're not trying to perfectly match existing colors.

Let me begin by saying that I never thought I would see the day that I would by a high quality comforter for one of my kids. The way they go through them, it always seemed like such a waste...until now! This is a beautiful comfortable - incredibly soft with a nice loft to it. My daughter was in tears when she got it as it matched her beach themed bedroom perfectly. I have to admit, she has made her bed EVERY single morning since she got it! That alone has to be worth something! I will be purchasing the rest of the set for her - the blue is a beautiful color and you cannot beat the quality!
