OK Nice... but not as hoped for August 4, 2010

There were no reviews for me to read or consider. Hope this helps someone else when they purchase this watch. I thought the product was good because it was Hilfiger and a fair price for a different looking, style watch.
It is different looking in my opinion. I dont think you will see it coming and going all over the place. I do like that. The face is pretty, but I DO NOT SEE mother of pearl at all. My internet pict shows pearly and I have a white face-no pearl and not happy with that. It says MOP on the tag? This watch is large, very large like boyfriend style...be prepared. The bracelet has a bar on each side of the dial that makes it appear even larger than if you just measure dial size. Looks ok for stainless steel but I DO NOT LIKE the underside flat-clasp. It looks cheap and old style and they need to be fitted just right to not see it or pinch your arm. I remember those very well and if I had realized that was the flat clasp on this I wouldnt have bought it... but I didnt realize it when I read the writeup. Overall, this watch is pretty at a glance - you need a normal to large wrist really - and dont expect mother of pearl like the picture. I am keeping it for I dont have a printer to print and send the slip back to Amazon - so I am keeping it and will remove LOTS of links and try to settle on it in time. It is hard to buy a watch on the internet with just a picture... and I did try on some in stores first but it wasnt this brand. I wanted a bigger watch this time - I will try it for awhile. I do not know the quality yet on the workings of course...
